| The big love for this cut song appears to be because it's for a character most of the posters on this board feel age appropriate for (being for an older, non-physically threatening male). Hal Prince let it be cut in 1987, and the original book writer and song writers have approved the cut repeatedly. Given the spirits of dead writers are invoked constantly to complain about any changes whatsoever, what's so challenging about accepting one where it's absolutely clear they approved and implemented it themselves? |
