it closed after only 33 previews and 36 performances
It closed so fast because Wildhorn has a tin ear for harmony.
In every song there's at least one spot, and usually more, where a badly chosen chord kills the momentum.
Of course, this didn't stop it from becoming one of the most-performed musicals in the country in the years following. |
