Very funny, profane, raunchy comedy. Jason Alexander plays a disgusting shyster lawyer and despicable human being, who suffers a near-fatal heart attack and is warned by an angel that he is in danger of going to hell unless he can atone for his past sins. Daniel Breaker is the Catholic priest who is tasked with the monumental job of trying to help Alexander get on the path to redemption.

Alexander's incredible comic timing is amazing. He's sort of an R-rated George Costanza, only Catholic, instead of Jewish. He absolutely nails every single line. Breaker is just as funny as a sincere, but wavering, vulnerable priest, who has a few transgressions of his own buried deep in his past. Their interaction is absolutely priceless and hilarious.

Highly recommended for Seinfeld fans who appreciate really dirty, sacrilegious humor. This show really skewers Roman Catholicism (and other things). I assume the show is Broadway bound. It continues its run at Chicago Shakespeare through May 26th.
