| My response to the show was overall more positive than everyone else's here, but I found the framing device intrusive and the least imaginative element in the show, starting with what played like an SNL cold open. To me, an awkward space shared by Lorne Michaels and Thornton Wilder - eyes twinkling with twee - not helpful. Again, minority take. |
