That’s nothing new — I remember attending the opening night performance the final preview of the original “La Cage” (I was lucky to get the ticket — the excitement around the production was something!). I was in the balcony and ….I’ll never forget it. It was a daunting experience getting to my seat.

The only other time I was up there was for “The Will Rogers Follies” and, while the view was something, the experience of getting up there and getting to my seat was …frought.

I don’t know that there’s a more daunting balcony on Broadway. Maybe the Kerr? Though that’s more the angle (and criminal lack of leg room) than the dizzying height.

Anyhow, I hear ya, kid. It’s scary.

But, man that’s a gorgeous refurb! It really DOES look like a palace.
