I saw Cabaret and enjoyed it. I won't comment on the merits of this production vs other productions (that has already been discussed in many other posts) other than to comment that I missed the emotional gut punch of the ending that the Alan Cumming version had. But I will comment on the theater itself. Seated up in the mezzanine, it was VERY cold. It must have been less cold in the orchestra because many of the performers on stage were scantily clad. But upstairs, it was COLD. Legroom in the mezzanine left a lot to be desired. The men's room on the mezzanine level was clean and modern, but it was woefully small for the amount of guys attempting to use it during intermission. My wife informed me that the Ladies' room was comparatively large, and their line did move much faster than the men's room did.
